Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:
as a baby DJ, my biggest advice is to remain consistent! lots of practice and familiarity with one’s craft will go a long way. also , art is forever and always gonna be political, unless you’re not invested in making the world way less shitty/oppressive, then ur art can be apolitical aka nonsense (oops!). ultimately, art is more than an escape from the (harsh) realities of our world. really, it is an invitation and opportunity for us to confront our personal and collective shit. so, whatever energy/capital is gained from your art-making process, use that to work towards a liberatory future. Power to the people!

About the mix:
A homage to my multigenre black & african baddies. From Jungle to rap/reggaeton to gqom and techno, this mix is a representation of the boundlessness of music. Release any anxious or tense energy by moving to this mix.
