Influences: From the soundtrack of my childhood and teenage years (North African and Middle Eastern music, New Wave, mainstream Italo Disco, Euro beat, early rave stuff…) to Disco, House, Electro, Early Goa and Cosmic Music. With a special mention for two DJs: Ron Hardy and Daniele Baldelli.

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects:
I have a monthly residency on the web radio Rinse France. Each time, I spin a 2-hour mix exploring a particular vibe, from downtempo and disco to house or progressive. I released a couple of years ago a compilation called “Studiolo” (Italian word for “cabinet of curiosity”) and dedicated to 90s Cosmic Music. It was released on the French label Antinote.

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:
The most important is to protect our own mental health. The DJ/producers game can be really toxic for anyone, but especially for Queer people. We have to face daily micro aggressions, and we have to deal with the stress and anxiety generated by competing for attention on social networks. It can be devastating.

About the mix:
It’s a vinyl-only mix, as I usually do, recorded at home. First, I thought about making something really club and dance floor, but I was not really in this mood. I went digging in my house for progressive and trance records to make something more shiny, like a cocoon to face the coming winter.
