It’s all about the music first and foremost. Play what excites you and remember everyone has their own journey – patience is key.

About the mix:
I recorded this mix on a beautiful spring afternoon, which at the moment is rare for London as we’ve been deprived of any sun recently! I roughly sketched it out and then pressed play on the first track, beginning the recording as the sun was setting and by the time i finished it was dark outside. I was fully in my own world when recording this and it felt good to take things a bit deeper and have those emotional moments, with tracks such as Roman Flugal’s Lucy, which for me is such a beautiful song and Hollis P Monroe’s ‘I’m Lonely’ which is one of my all time favourite tracks. The mix is a real groover with some trippy moments, it ramps up, but never fully smashes through the front door.

❁ Saffron: Saffron are a music tech initiative based here in the UK, but do lots of online courses and have a worldwide following. They were set up with the aim of bridging the gender imbalance in the music industry, specifically for women and non binary people to connect, learn and grow. I recently hosted an evening workshop talking about how i put my radio show together and it was such a brilliant experience. They also have online music production courses, dj courses and more!
